2021 JFS Chanukah Gift Drive

Shine a light for a child! 

With so many in our community experiencing financial strains, dealing with illness or other extenuating circumstances, we are getting ready for the holiday season earlier than usual!

This year's Chanukah Gift Drive will benefit clients (families with children) supported by Raleigh-Cary Jewish Family Services along with families supported by The Green Chair Project. Join us this holiday season in purchasing board games, art supplies, sports equipment and other gifts, and shine a light to children and families.

WANT TO SUPPORT OTHERS?

Participate in our Gift Drive by purchasing new toys, games and crafts! Shop online or drop off the gifts at one of the drop off locations below anytime between October 11th - November 11th. All gifts purchased this year will be given to families supported by Jewish Family Services and The Green Chair Project for Chanukah and the winter holiday season.

What gifts to buy:

Purchase gifts at local stores and drop off, or purchase directly from our Amazon Wish List (gifts will be shipped directly to our offices!). Print out our wish list if you’re shopping locally, for an easy shopping experience. Here are the types of gifts we need this year:

• Arts and Crafts (such as coloring books, markers, perler beads, etc.)

• Board Games (such as Uno, Scrabble, Puzzles, etc)

• Sports Equipment (such as basketball, jump rope, etc)

• Gift cards to local stores (such as Target, Walmart, Amazon)- please limit gift cards to $50 at the most.

We want the Gift Drive to be easy for you!

• Purchase online to have items shipped directly to our offices..

• Make a monetary donation toward our Drive and we’ll purchase gifts in your name!

• Beth Meyer Synagogue, 504 Newton Road, Raleigh

• Beth Shalom, 5713 Yates Mill Pond Road, Raleigh

• Chabad of Cary- Hebrew School location

• Chabad of Raleigh- 7400 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh

• Temple Beth Or- 5315 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh

Other important information:

• When purchasing a gift, please consider ages 0-18.

• New toys only, please.

• No oversized items.

• If donating gift cards, please limit to $50 per gift card.
